New Fashion Design like every people in the world.

Your success in the field of fashion has not been overnight.  Would you like to recall your start in 1990s and the journey that still continues?
United States: This success did not happen overnight.  The old guns of the industry like me faced tremendous problems a the beginning of their careers especially when  you have a society who could not swallow the existence of male designers in fashion line.  When I started this profession I could see Rizwan Beyg the only male figure beside me working as a designer. And we were criticized first but later on the trend changed and now you can observe the demolished stereotypical notions as most of the designers are male.  I am not making a comparison but 25 years ago nobody took fashion seriously and now the things have changed completely.  With the concept of fashion designing schools the fashion itself has become an industry. It is the most amazing, wold class, and outstanding collection! What does Pakistani Fashion have these days that was not present before? It is definitely the way a dress is created to enhance sophistication and grace with style that was lacking before. Umar Sayeed, a muse for the fashion onlookers and an inspiration for those who thing that fashion is the heart beat for a person, for whom clothes exhibit your taste of life. Umar Sayeed took Fashion very seriously from the beginning  and continued his path with much determination.  This passion was the reason behind ignoring and braking stereotypical notions of males not taking fashion as a profession of choice.  Some 25 years ago he sensed the beauty and importance of heritage and has been true to the profession till this very day.

Top Notch Designers of 2012 (Amazing Style)

The King of Couture needs no introduction when its come to bridal or lawn collection but this year he failed to meet up the buyer's expectations and it seems that his interest has slightly shifted towards chirography than  designing clothes. Fahad Khan always brings antique artistic taste to the floor and he sticks to one theme and creates the entire collection around it.  His last collection Gulab Jan Shows the intricate gota work and he has given a new spin to bridal wear i.e less work and more of aesthetic colour scheming and delicate got tilla designs. In the beginning of the year the Duos were displaying mediocre work and their wasn't anything different to it, but at the end of the year they wowed the audience with their beautiful colour plates and amazing cuts at Bridal Couture week.  We are looking for forward to even better next year.

Elegance style and panache these are the words which described elan throughout this year.  The outfits were comprised of delicate work, with amazing fabric and mind-blowing colour schemes.  Way to go Kahdi You have won people's hearts with your fabulous collections in the year 2012. Made his debut as a choreographer at BCW and impressed the audience with his pure traditional collection throughout the year, Ali seems with a promising future to this fashion fields. Highs and Lows of Fashion 2012 (PFDC Sunsilk Fashion)

The years started with the three famous fashion shows: PFDC Sunsilk Fashion week, Bridal Couture week, Fashion Pakistan week for spring and summer collections.  Though the timing was bit awkward for the designers as well as for the journalist and audience with the back to back shows in Lahore and Karachi but still they ended with much promising remarks.  The back to back shows had only on draw back that audience lost the attention of FPW and the efforts of other designers went down in the drain.  After when the shows came to a respite with fashion relief for the next 6 month, there was much to look for designer's winter collections.

The runways indeed showcased that they are dedicated to facilitating a gateway to the fashion world-from creations to consumers.  In a well-attended affairs, lead multiple Pakistan's finest designer through an exciting journey into the work of fashion and by the end of this time we can proudly stay that yes or industry has covered a millstone and is ready to complete on international scale.  The entire year Pakistani fashion seemed like a fantoccini in the hands of both Karachi and Lahore's council that led to favoritism and politics in the result in the recent scenario when a well deserving award was snatched from one designer and given to the other.

Shimmers and Shines Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh always believes that a quotation is handy thing to have about saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself, always a laborious business.  So like pooh I wouldn't to put myself in one of those categories who doesn't not have anything else to say and rely on others words to keep their message conveyed. For this year Fashion doesn't need any contemplation or redemption since it was huge and all over the places.  Starting with the lawn few, runway fights and the fashion council's big guns fights, the year ended with much hope projection.

Few of the designers nailed marvelously on ramp and few made audience to put last nail on fashion coffin.  But still with the lost of high and lows the fashion industry completed their 2012 journey with much success and many upcoming promising brigade like Ammar Shahid, Fahad and Deepak, Misha Lakhani and Hina Butt have proved themselves for better fashion future with their collection on ramp.  The Fashion weeks were not entirely about late night, high heels and too many contrasts, not just between established labels and emerging artists' intent on making noises and those that are thoughtfully murmuring into our ears.  Take a glimpse with S plus in this much happening fashion yearly roundup and read who touched the sky and fell down from the sky.
